A shopper was thrown to the floor after a car smashed through the glass front of a Christchurch furniture store. The vehicle hit a table, which in turn hit the woman, throwing her onto the floor. "There was lots of broken glass around and broken things on the floor," she said. "Police and ambulance attended and the driver of the car was assessed and treated at the scene by ambulance staff," she said.
