A man was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving after a passenger died in a crash in Claire on Saturday evening. A passenger, a female in her thirties, was fatally injured in an incident about a kilometer outside. Rescuers and Gardai of the National Ambulance Service attended the scene with the crew of the Ennis Fire Brigade. The driver in his thirties was arrested and taken to Ennisgarda station. Gardai is calling on witnesses of the incident, or anyone in the area at the time, to contact them if they see anything.
