Police, firefighters and paramedics discovered a motorcyclist down, but that the driver of the vehicle that hit the motorcyclist had fled the scene in their vehicle. The damaged and separated front bumper and license plate from the offender’s vehicle were left behind at the scene. The motorcyclist was transported to a nearby hospital by Rolling Meadows Fire Department paramedics.
