Over-85s who enjoy a regular cuppa were found to have more focus and a better attention span. They also had superior psychomotor skills, which link the brain with movement and could help in activities such as driving, sewing and jigsaws. Higher tea consumption was linked to significantly better attention skills and psychomotor speed on complex tasks.
