A drink driver has been jailed after a footballer lost his leg in a serious crash on the M27. The driver of a Mercedes, Anna Malgorzata Bogusiewicz, of Park Avenue in Wraysbury, crashed into a VW Golf, which had been pulled over onto the M27 hard shoulder. Footballer Jordan Chiedozie was inspecting a flat tyre on the Golf when the crash happened. The court heard his injuries were so severe that he lost his leg and was put into an induced coma. Bogusiewicz, 45, was charged with causing serious injury by dangerous driving and a charge of drink driving.
