Drifters Rugby Club has taken the ‘difficult decision’ to withdraw from the Berks, Bucks & Oxon Premier Division with immediate effect and their results this season have already been expunged,The club has managed three victories in the league this season, but injuries and unavailability have meant they've struggled to field a team on too many occasions. It feels this is unfair to the players of Drifters, who have turned up for matches on a regular basis, but also the players of teams the club is due to play. Drifters later thanked everyone for their messages of support on Twitter and insisted the club would be back. League rivals Slough have also struggled for form of late, losing their last six league matches. The seventh placed side are due to return to action at home to Bletchley on Saturday, February 19.
