Four buildings in San Clemente were yellowed after a landslide following heavy rains on Wednesday. The Orange County Fire Department evacuated three apartment buildings Wednesday morning because of the landslide in Buena Vista’s 1500 block. (Allen J. However, Clayton Robinson told KABC-TV that he may have lost everything in the slide. “We called our insurance company and they said, well, they don’t cover hills that go downhill,” Robinson told the station.
