There was drama at the Bomas of Kenya on Sunday evening as Usawa Kwa Wote presidential aspirant protested removal of his name from nomination register. In a video seen by the Star, Murang’a Governor Mwangi wa Iria who is seeking the presidency questioned why his name had been removed from the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission schedule yet he submitted all the initial requirements. Wa Iria insisted that he met all the requirements including bringing signatures from supporters in 24 counties as required and the commission even acknowledged receipt. Governor Wa Iria is expected to meet Chebukati on Monday at 9 am over the omission of his name from the presidential nomination registration. The Usawa Kwa Wote presidential aspirant has called on all is supporters to accompany him to the meeting on Monday.
