Zafrullah on Monday told Dhaka Tribune that his wife Shirin Parveen Huq and son Bareesh Hasan Chowdhury were tested with the GR Covid-19 Dot Blot, a rapid testing kit recently developed by GK, at GK’s laboratory, and both tested positive. On Sunday, they also tested positive for Covid-19 through the RT-PCR test at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU). Zafrullah himself was diagnosed with Covid-19 on May 25, after he also got tested with the GK’s rapid testing kit. Four days later, a RT-PCR test at BSMMU also found him positive for Covid-19.
