PETALING JAYA: Malaysians should be thankful for the peace and unity among its people, and for having a strong independent economy, says Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad. “We must be thankful that Malaysia is not in riots or at war as other countries. Dr Mahathir said economic growth – expected to be between 4.3% and 4.8% -- is very encouraging and has put Malaysia among the Asian countries with the highest growth rate. Dr Mahathir praised the maturity of those who refused to heed to those who incite hate. Gong Xi Fa Cai,” said Dr Mahathir.
