BEIJING: Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad says he would handcuff Jho Low if the businessman showed up in front of him. However, the Prime Minister said the whereabouts of Low was not a topic of discussion during his five-day visit to China, even though rumours suggested that the man at the heart of the 1MDB scandal was in the country. Dr Mahathir said he believed it could be true, but added that he had no proof. Asked what he would do if Low was sitting next to him, he answered: "I would put handcuffs on him." Dr Mahathir said this at a press conference with the Malaysian media before ending his visit here on Tuesday (August 21).
