BEIJING: Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad held a visual call with Malaysian students in Malaysia via Huawei's telepresence system when he visited the company's research centre here on Thursday (April 25). He chatted with the students, who are undergoing the Seeds for the Future programme, conducted by the world's biggest telecommunications equipment maker. Meanwhile, during his time at the research centre here, the Malaysian Prime Minister also met with Huawei founder Ren Zhengfei. Dr Mahathir, here on a five-day visit, was also briefed on the company's 5G technology, cloud services and other smart applications.
