At least 20 to 25 people, including two firefighters, were injured in a large fire at a Maryland apartment building Wednesday, fire officials said. The Associated Press contributed to this report. Oscar Garcia told the Associated Press that the two firefighters hurt battling the blaze suffered non-life threatening injuries. Firefighters and emergency personnel from Montgomery County, Prince George’s County and the Takoma Park Volunteer Fire Department were on the scene and working to help control the flames and help residents. Fox 5 DC reported that an explosion sparked the roaring inferno and that nearby buildings suffered collateral damage.
