Thousands of runners are gearing up for Sunday's Vancouver Sun Run, including a special group of residents from the Downtown Eastside. The Carnegie Community Centre running group has been training for weeks for the 10-kilometre road race. The group has received running gear, shoes and training from community sponsors. Garnett Weins (L) and Aly Lane (R) are both running in Sunday's Vancouver Sun Run. "Run gear is super important when you're out there and it's a big confidence boost for folks.
