Downpours cause flooding in parts of South


Parts of the South have been affected by surface flooding as an awful run of weather continues. Clutha District Council said downpours in the last 24 hours had created surface flooding on some of the region's roads. There is also surface flooding on the Dipton-Castlerock and Waimea Valley roads. On Christmas Day temperatures across the South were expected to be in the mid-teens across the South, with some rain also expected.
