The Dow Jones Industrial Average dropped by more than 250 points, or around 1 percent. The S&P 500 slid by 1.5 percent and the Nasdaq Composite fell by 2.7 percent. Thursday’s declines came after another record-setting session for the S&P 500 and the Nasdaq Composite. The S&P 500 and Nasdaq were up by 2.1 percent and 3.1 percent, respectively, week to date entering the session. The Dow entered the session up 1.6 percent for this week.
