From 1957 to 1973, Bennett’s grandfather, Dan Bennett Sr., coached football at Natick High before dying unexpectedly at the age of 45. “Football is one of the most important things in our family,” Bennett said. “It is the family tradition that binds the whole family together,” Dan said.
