Douglass "Doug" Norris Seward, 91, of The Villages, has slipped the surly bonds of Earth. Born in Batavia NY, Doug was predeceased by his beloved wife of 54 years, Josephine "Jo" Seward, his parents Norris and Arlie Seward, his brother James Seward, and his sister Delores Cecere. His commitment continued through 15 years of Civil Service with the Air Force. Doug was the driving force behind the B-52 Stratofortress monument at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. Beyond his distinguished Air Force achievements, Doug will be remembered for his witty sense of humor and his deep love for family.
