PETALING JAYA: It was double joy for Petronas as Fabio Quartararo took a second straight lights-to-flag MotoGP win with Moto3 rider John McPhee finishing a fine second at the Andalucian Grand Prix. It was a brutal race with several crashes involving the mid-pack at the start and only 13 riders manage to finish the 25-lap race. McPhee was overjoyed to claim his second podium in three races. He has 40 points, just 10 shy of leader Albert Arenas of Spain who failed to finish the race. Meanwhile in Moto2, Hafizh Syahrin Abdullah failed to repeat last week’s fine performance when he failed to finish the race yesterday.
