Do's and don'ts for budding humanitariansSupplied Sue van Schreven with her new book to be launched December 4It's the book she wished someone had given her and one that Orphans Aid International founder Sue van Schreven now hopes will inspire and encourage other budding humanitarians to pursue their dream. Stewart Island takes the honours, hosting a special book signing with van Schreven, at the island's community centre. It's almost seven years since van Schreven launched her first book, Rescue: Pursuit of the Ultimate Dream, now in its third printing. Van Schreven and husband Carl first launched the southern, now Queenstown-based, international aid charity in 2004. "It's easy to get discouraged when launching an international aid operation and I've learned so much along the way," van Schreven says.
