Problem #1 – The climate change catastropheWhen it comes to the problems faced by humanity, the elephant in the room, the big kahuna, the 800-pound gorilla, is climate change. Here’s a small example of how intractable the climate change problem can be. In the United States, if someone wanted to have a glimmer of hope about climate change, they might have pointed out that electric car adoption was growing. The theory: if we can get gas-guzzling cars off the road and replace them with clean electric vehicles, it would help thwart climate change. The answer is nothing, and thus climate change will accelerate.
