KUALA LUMPUR: Umno grassroots have been reminded not to use its branch meetings to point fingers at one another and as a fighting field. Umno deputy president Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein said the branch meeting, to be held tomorrow, should be used to fix the determination and struggle of the party together. He said restructuring the grassroots’ movement through the meeting should be a starting point in order to improve Umno in returning to lead in the political arena. Umno supreme council had previously set an annual meeting for branches, women’s wing as well as the youth and puteri starting tomorrow till June 10 while the division level is on June 30. Datuk Seri Najib Razak announced his resignation as the BN chairman and Umno president three days after the election.
