Former Prime Minister and Manmohan Singh opened up recently and lamented that even with two years down the line, the government has not pushed the reforms further. He also added that it was unlikely that the GDP figures hadn’t been fudged, a figure which has been criticised. He also said the government and opposition should 'work together to keep the country moving forward'. He said: “I don’t think the GDP figures are fudged. Manmohan Singh served as the Finance Minister between 1991 and 1996, in PV Narasimha Rao's cabinet.
