Don't give bribes for health jobs, warns CPSB chairman

Vihiga county public service board chairperson Frankline Esipila has warned residents against giving bribes for recruitment into the health service. He said they have received complaints from the public that cartels are asking for money in exchange for jobs. “We are not taking bribes from anybody and in case you sent money for this purpose, then you have fallen victim to the cartels,” Esipila said. The county is recruiting 124 health workers to strengthen services during the Covid-19 pandemic. These are part of the 5,500 health workers who the state directed counties to hire through their public service boards.
