JOHOR BARU: Johor Ruler Sultan Ibrahim Ibni Almarhum Sultan Iskandar (pic) advised mayors and local council presidents not to dabble in politics. He said that as civil servants, they are bound by their oath of office to remain neutral and not take sides in the coming polls. "Do not forget that you are all civil servants. "Don't get involved in politics," he said during a meeting with local authority chiefs at Istana Pasir Pelangi here on Monday (Feb 26). Sultan Ibrahim said it is incumbent on them to not only bring progress and development, but also resolve social problems in their respective areas of jurisdiction.
