The Western Ghats have become a conflict zone between wild animals and human settlements due to increasing invasion of humans into the forests. Animals often come out of forest area because of drought condition, searching for water. Many of the forests' water bodies have been lost to human settlements. Two days ago a group of men entering the forest were chased away by an angry elephant. On Sunday morning, an Indian bison attacked a man in Nilgiris district of Tamilnadu.
