International Scrabble ChallengeRegistration deadline: April 12> The ASTAR Scrabble Challenge International (ASCI) 2026, organised by the First Residential College, Universiti Malaya, will be held from May 23 to 24 at the varsity. > Established in 2006, ASCI has grown into a globally recognised international Scrabble tournament, supported by the World English-Language Scrabble Players Association (WESPA) and the Malaysian Scrabble Association. > It aims to promote the word game across generations, enhance English language proficiency, and foster intellectual interaction and critical thinking among Malaysian and international participants from diverse backgrounds. > The competition will adhere to the official Collins Scrabble Words 2024 lexicon and WESPA Version 5.1 rules, featuring Under-12, Under-15, Under-18 and Open categories.
