Doncaster moved to within three points of the League One play-off places after seeing off struggling Tranmere 3-0 at Prenton Park. A second-half double from debutant Jacob Ramsey and one from substitute Fejiri Okenabirhie did it for Donny as their relegation-threatened hosts stayed six points adrift of safety. James Vaughan saw a left-footed shot deflected wide for a corner, before Kieron Morris shanked a good chance wide. But Doncaster were a different team after the break and led in the 54th minute when Ramsey side-footed home Kieran Sadlier’s pull back. The midfielder doubled their advantage 20 minutes later, heading home a cross from Niall Ennis.
