India’s Test team vice-captain Ajinkya Rahane has donated Rs 10 lakh to the Maharastra chief minister’s relief fund for the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic. Bengal’s Ranji Trophy winning captain Sambaran Banerjee and the West Bengal Badminton Association have promised Rs 1 lakh each to chief minister’s relief fund. A stopwatch provided by the couple shows they covered the distance in five hours, nine minutes and 39 seconds. “A challenging time and all the more a reason to take care of ourselves,” Boxing Federation of India president Ajay Singh said.
