Joe Biden’s 36 day presidency has not been the traditional honeymoon president’s hope for, but Donald Trump’s return to the public stage on Sunday will likely mark the end of it, writes John Matisonn. Trump’s refusal to allow the normal transition of power and his Senate impeachment trial both slowed Senate confirmation of Biden’s cabinet members, but Biden’s style and tone have so far lowered the political temperature, without necessarily attracting much explicit Republican cooperation. That will likely change when Trump wraps up the annual Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC).
