The US president and First Lady were welcomed to Buckingham Palace by the Queen, before Trump inspected the guard of honour to a medley of American service tunes. The couple later joined the Queen, Prince Charles, Camilla, Prince Harry and other royals for a private lunch - alongside Trump's daughter Ivanka and her husband Jared Kushner. The monarch’s official gifts to Trump were a first edition of The Second World War by Winston Churchill from 1959. She also gave him a three-piece Duofold pen set – a fountain pen, rollerball pen and ballpoint pen with EIIR cypher.
