So even though hybrid work in general has endured post-pandemic, “the hybrid era is over” within the federal government, Gallup reported. Bringing federal workers back into the office full-time has been a priority for the White House since Trump was inaugurated. Trump vowed to crack down on remote work for federal employees before he was inaugurated. And although hybrid workers are showing up in the office more often, the change has only been modest.
