Ireland is damned if we do strike back at the US but even more damned if we don’t. The Irish economy and more importantly Irish jobs, are now on the line, as a result of Donald Trump’s aggressive sabre-rattling over Greenland, which means a trade war between the US and Europe is now all but inevitable.
