In last year’s botched deed of settlement, Wambua had agreed to pay Ngumbau the Sh10 million plus Sh14 million in interest and in the alternative to surrender his 513-acre ranch in Kitui. Wambua was also to withdraw three cases filed in regard to the complaint at Milimani Commercial Court and Court of Appeal. Upon executing the deed, Wambua wrote to the tribunal, alerting them of the settlement and seeking leave to withdraw.
