As the Article 50 Bill returns to the Commons today, we are on the threshold of the most important negotiations for our country in a generation. This simple 137 word Bill will begin a process to bring the UK out of the European Union but also a process of renewing our relationship with European friends and allies on a new basis - partnership between a fully self-determining UK and the EU, with its 27 remaining members. We are confident it will be one that works to the mutual benefit of both sides.
