Jadavpur University cannot permit “hooliganism” in the name of fostering “intellectual independence”, IIT Kharagpur director Suman Chakraborty, himself an alumnus of JU, said on Saturday. But a caution: do not indulge in hooliganism in the name of intellectual independence.
