MANILA, Philippines — The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has warned the public against buying and taking unregistered food supplements. 2019-155 and 2019-158, the agency said its postmarketing surveillance showed there were 11 food supplements without a Certificate of Product Registration that were being sold to the public. ADVERTISEMENT“Since these unregistered food supplements have not gone through the evaluation process of the FDA, the agency cannot guarantee their quality and safety,” it added. Other unregistered products included Natural Stacks Ciltep for Mental Performance dietary supplement; DRFormulas Hairomega DHT’s DHT blocker with biotin dietary supplement; Keto 2000 dietary supplement; Bust Maxx dietary supplement; Nature’s Nectar bone builder with calcium dietary supplement; and Plump Bust breast enlargement capsule natural. “All concerned establishments are warned not to distribute violative food supplements,” the FDA said.
