A “source close to the President” was quoted as saying the President just rested in Davao. This was the most obvious and valid question the Palace reporters should have asked, but did not, leaving a wide gap unplugged. Although I had not heard of the hospital before, the information was concrete enough and the sources appeared fairly credible. This columnist, or the nonconformist and independent press for that matter, is not the problem here.
