According to the NDC, it has more important issues to think of and has no interest in fueling the feud between the NPP and the Asantehene. The Ashanti Regional General Secretary of the NPP Sam Pyne on Friday accused the NDC of fueling the rift between the revered Monarch of the Asante Kingdom and the party. Otchere Darko has, however, dismissed the reports that he is undercutting and inciting Akyems against the Asantehene. But former Presidential Staffer and Member of Parliament for Builsa South Clement Apaak has warned the NPP not to link the party to the ongoing fracas between them and the Asantehene.
