SANTO DOMINGO, Dominican Republic (AP) " Authorities in the Dominican Republic say they have seized more than 2,050 pounds (930 kilograms) of cocaine off the country's southern coast. The spokesman of the Dominican anti-narcotics agency said Tuesday that authorities have arrested a Colombian and a Dominican. Dario Medrano said the two men were aboard a boat where the drugs were seized. The seizure occurred Monday near the coastal town of Cumayasa. It is located about 70 kilometers (45 miles) east of the capital of Santo Domingo.
