Police, firefighters and paramedics from Arlington Heights responded about 6:12 p.m. Sunday, January 15, 2023 to a report of a domestic disturbance at Dunton Tower Apartments, 55 South Vail Avenue in Arlington Heights. A resident at Dunton Tower also submitted a tip to CARDINAL NEWS, reporting that there was commotion with a possible fight on the ninth floor in the south wing of Dunton Tower before police and paramedics arrived. The disturbance apparently expanded from Dunton Tower north on Vail Avenue almost to Davis Street. One ambulance was dispatched to 55 South Vail Avenue, and a second ambulance was dispatched to Vail Avenue between Campbell Street and Davis Street/Eastman Street. The scene on Vail Avenue north of Campbell Street was cleared by about 7:00 p.m.
