ETG Integrated Services Limited (aka Dolphin Telecom) has donated assorted medical equipment and furniture to the maternity ward of the Ga North Municipal Hospital, Ofankor in Greater Accra Region. Dolphin Telecom, a global communications carrier and operator of the Africa Coast to Europe (ACE) submarine cable system in West Africa, embarked on the mission to provide essential medical items and supplies that will allow the recently opened hospital to function efficiently in the discharge of its duties. Receiving the items, Dr Victor Caesar (Acting Medical Superintendent of Ga North Municipal Hospital), said the gesture could not have come at a better time as the hospital faced a number of challenges that made its operations difficult. “This is what led to this gesture, and in addition to that Dolphin staff are encouraged to contribute towards its CSR project as part of the company’s culture. “We believe that our support to the Ofankor Maternity Hospital will go a long way to support the community and its environs.” Mrs. Annan added.
