Whatever the stumbles of Trump Administration foreign policy, the U.S. dollar will remain the biggest day-to-day projection of U.S. influence abroad. It influences both finance and trade and is, of course, reflected in valuations such as the Forbes Billionaires. Perhaps major trading partners were aiming even lower with their money measures--certainly Japanese manufacturing has responded to a lower yen (see Japan's Richest). Trump & Co. like to say the Chinese yuan has been manipulated to aid exporters, although the record is more mixed. Lately, emerging markets have regained favor, and this can only redound to higher wealth scores in much of Asia.
