The U.S. dollar fell Wednesday, weighed down by the gains in the euro after a European Central Bank official signaled the bank will be discussing ending its bond purchase program. The WSJ Dollar Index, which measures the U.S. currency against a basket of 16 others, fell 0.2% to 86.91, notching its third consecutive decline and the largest in a week.
