Some small changes have made a big impact on New Zealand Aluminium Smelter's energy efficiency for 2016. NZAS assets manager Scott Westbury said while the results were positive, there were still opportunities to get better. Westbury said with high electricity transmission prices and the current economic climate, there needed to be a continued focus on improving the smelter's energy efficiency. "That has to be our aim if were going to be here for the long-haul, which is something we're absolutely determined to do."
