Dog rescued from Foxton storm drainA dog was safely rescued by firefighters after falling into a storm drain in Foxton. The Foxton Fire Brigade was sent to Purcell St after getting a call about the trapped dog at 12.40pm. Fire Service spokesman Craig Dally said the dog was not seriously hurt, and firefighters managed to quickly haul it out of the drain.
