Credit: Mitch WallaceA few days ago, in my article on Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy, I mentioned my as of yet unrequited longing for a Spyro the Dragon trilogy revamp. So for example, Crash Team Racing contained a secret demo for Spyro 2: Ripto’s Rage!, while Spyro 2 had a stowaway preview for CTR. Crash Bandicoot: Warped and the original Spyro the Dragon also shared demos, and a recent discovery within the new N. Sane Trilogy (which looks to have been uncovered by YouTuber ‘ThornsofSerenity’) has brought this classic mascot camaraderie into a whole new light. But here’s the thing—if you enter the same code while on the Warped title screen in the new N. Sane Trilogy, the cursor to choose either ‘Continue’ or ‘New Game’ completely disappears. Could it simply be a subtle nod to the original instruction manual code, or could this possibly mean that we may be seeing a remastered Spyro the Dragon trilogy sooner than we think?
