The Dodgers front office has done a remarkable job assembling a talented team. The Dodgers had not played in a World Series since 1988 and their fans missed the whole television lead up. Fans that see their team on television end up buying more memorabilia and go to more live games as well as buying the products advertised on the broadcasts. It does not help the Dodger situation that another baseball team with Los Angeles in its name is playing exciting baseball now and is readily available on all cable systems. They have the best player in baseball in Mike Trout, who is currently leading the League in home runs.
