In L.A., Dodgers average attendance is again the tops in baseball for their first 72 home dates, slightly up at 46,884 per game. The Yankees have increased significantly from an average of 39,835 last year to 43,122, second behind the Dodgers, in the same 72 home games. Dodger Stadium can still seat as many as 53,000 and the most recent version of Yankee Stadium, now a decade old, can squeeze in just under 50,000.
