Doctors want Health CS Cleopa Mailu and PS Nicholas Muraguri barred from fresh negotiations seekin to end the nationwide strike in its 53rd day. They also want the talks held in public "so the public knows who is telling the truth". This was after a court gave doctors until January 31 to complete negotiations and call off the strike. A one month jail sentence against union officials was suspended to allow them to negotiate and call off their strike. Counties now employ nearly 90 per cent of doctors but were not involved in the 2013 CBA.
